In a double blind, placebo controlled study, about 55 obese women were divided into two groups; one group took Yacon Syrup and other group took a placebo. Over 120 days, the placebo group didn’t experience significant changes, while the women who took Yacon Syrup, lost a significant amount of excess weight.
